We would not advise glueing the underlay in place.

Hi can I use this under LVT that already has foam type backing attached Our Advice

We would not recommend using an extra underlay if the LVT already has a built-in underlay, as this will invalidate the product warranty and cause damage to the flooring over time.

Does the LVT simply “float” on this underlay, or does it physically stick to the LVT? A little confused since an earlier review mentioned it sticking like clingfilm when the plastic is removed. I initially presumed that both underlay and LVT were installed “dry”, as is the case when laying laminate.Our Advice

Yes, you are correct. LVT is a floating floor the underlay will be placed on the floor and the flooring installed on top of that. There would be no adhesive required.
