How often should this treatment be applied?Our Advice

Hi Jacquline The longevity will depend on many factors for the area usage, wear, cleaning regime and cleaning products. For example on a wall where it only occasionally gets a wipe over now and then, it can last for years, but on a floor where you have heavy foot traffic and is mopped weekly, the time between applications will need to be reduced. We have chosen Ledbury Tiles for our wet room as they appear to have a high non slip rating, will this protector make the tiles more slippery?Our Advice

Hi Sally When this product is sprayed on, it leaves a very thin repellent barrier that will not alter the micro-texture or slip resistance of the tile but will create a droplet effect when water comes into contact. This barrier will aid cleaning and also minimise the chance of long term grout discolouration. Hi can I use this sealer on highly polished porcelain tiles and will it affect the colour or polish effect?Our Advice

Hi Asma, This sealer can be used on any tile from ceramic, natural stone and all porcelain including the polished finish. The excess spray will evaporate making it invisible on most tiles. Hi, you recently answered a question for me and recommended LTP Grout & Tile Protector. The problem we have in our wet room is that the water takes the colour out of the grout on the floor leaving it looking permanently patchy. Will the Grout & Tile Protector prevent this, or is there another product which will solve this? Thank you for your valued help. SusanOur Advice

Hi Susan, The protector forms a repellent barrier which will help against the grout darkening when wet. However if the grout is going lighter, it could be caused by efflorescence or partial dispersion. If either of these is the case it will look uniform when wet, and dry back to the normal colour with sporadic light patches.
