Can I tank in 2 parts? My shower tray is delayed so I planned on tanking the whole area, tiling down till the last row of tiles, then fitting tray when it arrives, then tape and tank the tray and finish the tiling. Would this be ok to do?Our Advice

We would recommend that you complete the waterproofing system in one to avoid any anomalies

Hi please confirm tape install method as video unclear! on top of shower rim, video shows green tape on first (masking tape?) then gum appliedover joint then tape applied, then more gum. Video then shows green tape being pulled off, but im confused as will this not break the seal on top of shower ray rim? thxOur Advice

The green tape is just a masking tape so that the solution does not spill onto the shower tray. You would use silicone sealant around the shower trim to ensure this is water tight. The kit is to waterproof the walls behind where the tiles are due to be installed.
