Hi, please can you let me know whether these tiles would be ok to use in a domestic setting on a bathroom floor?Our Advice

We would not recommend using the Linear Black Gloss Wall Tile (SKU 435530) on the floor as it is not designed for floor use, if you are looking for a suitable floor tile in black, please look at our Chess Black Floor Tile (SKU 433320) or our Doblo Black Polished Porcelain (SKU 434695), we would recommend ordering samples to ascertain their suitability for your project.

The Linear Black Gloss Wall tiles would be suitable for a splashback in a kitchen area. We would recommend installing the tiles using Mapegrip D2 Adhesive (SKU: 011715).

What grouting would you recommend with these tilesOur Advice

Thank you for your question. We would recommend Keracolor SF 100 White Grout, SKU: 4B10005, to contrast and highlight the tiles, or Keracolor SF 114 Anthracite Grout, SKU: 4B11405, to compliment the tiles. Both of which are fine grouts ideal for use with gloss tiles. Please type the SKU codes into the website to be taken directly to the products.

can these tiles be used inside a fire place, would they with stand the heat?Our Advice

Thank you for your question. The Linear Black Gloss Wall Tile is not a tile that we would reccomend to be used for a fireplace. We would reccomend a natural slate SKU435415 when used with the correct adhesive Keraquick. Keraquick SKU: 012120UK will allow heat up to 90 degrees.
